A Fresh Start

Welcome to the new blog for Matt Spencer photography. The old blog was falling into disrepair and deserved a refreshing, so here we are today. I’m starting fresh for several reasons, one of which has been some wonderful new changes and updates to Matt Spencer Photography, including, but not limited to the new photo campaign of the I AM EQUAL project.

I AM EQUAL is a powerful statement. It’s not about claiming power over anyone, or showing support for any one group of people, but instead about embracing humanity and holding everyone as equals. The website www.iamequalproject.org has a host of information about the campaign as well as resources for informing ourselves about global issues concerning human rights and equality. I’ve been blessed to be a part of this emerging project by giving it a face, more specifically the face of the millions of people out there that share our message and a passion to see everyone treated as an equal.

This is just one of many topics that will unfold as I reach out through my blog to share the passion of my work, the tools I use, the innovations I find interesting and they way I choose to share my contribution to this world. I firmly believe that we are all important and have our own unique gifts, talents and abilities to share with each other. If I can do it, you can too. So let’s all let our unique light shine and share with everyone the beauty and power within.
